Influenza (flu) and Pneumonia Vaccinations

If you are over 65 years and suffer from a chronic medical condition such as asthma, emphysema, heart disease or diabetes, if you are pregnant, or if your immune system is suppressed, you could be at risk of influenza or pneumonia.

Each year a flu vaccine is available to provide protection for that year against the most common strains. We run specialised nurse clinics throughout October and November for these vaccinations. Please check our website for further details at the end of September.

Pneumonia vaccination is available to those non-pregnant patients in the at-risk groups. It is usually given every 5 years or once over the age of 65 years.

We offer a broad range of care to all age groups
